My name is Millie Moore, the PNMH Champion for the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin area.Â
I am a newly qualified GP and have developed an interest in perinatal mental health during my training. Â I believe that ensuring good quality psychological support in the perinatal period can lead to better bonding and decrease adverse childhood experiences. I hope by improving PNMH management across our region we can reduce the negative effect of these experiences, which have such a profound impact on the development of young people. I aim to develop relationships with local resources/charities to support and manage these families effectively. Â
Outside of work you can find me throwing a ball around a netball court with friends, exploring the countryside with my boarder collie or trying to lift weights at my local CrossFit gym!Â
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by email or use the contact form on the website.Â
